Ms. Ngoc Anh Dao
Vietnam Chapter
As Co-Founder and CEO of IWCA Vietnam, I am deeply honored to attend the IWCA Global Convention—a transformative platform that amplifies the leadership of Vietnamese women in coffee and strengthens our role within the global industry. This convention represents more than connection; it is about empowerment, innovation, and collaboration. By engaging with global leaders, exchanging forward-thinking ideas, and building strategic partnerships, we bring back knowledge and opportunities that will not only elevate Vietnamese coffee on the world stage but also create lasting, sustainable impact for our members, our communities, and the future of the coffee industry.
Janina Pojan Ruiz
Venezuela Chapter
Our attendance at this convention is very important, as it supports the organization’s positioning nationally and internationally, in addition to highlighting the significant participation of women in the Venezuelan coffee value chain. We will continue learning from the experiences of the other chapters that make up IWCAGlobal, establish strategic alliances to continue transmitting knowledge and new sustainable practices to our women coffee producers, and, of course, promote the culture and work of excellence and, as a result, the good and aromatic coffee of our coffee farmers around the world. We will also position and highlight not only our coffee but also the talent and leadership of women in Venezuela.
NAHIMANA Rosa Paula
Burundi Chapter
I want to attend the event because i want mostly to gather with other IWCA members around the world to learn from them and share our experiences and also i want to exhibit the coffee from my country.
Fransisca Indersiani
Indonesia Chapter
For our chapter—representing nearly 3,000 women coffee producers across six regions of Indonesia—the Bali Convention is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to exchange practical experience and introduce Flores coffee to the global community. Our members work hard to improve their farming practices and coffee quality, but they often do so in isolation. Being able to attend, learn from other chapters, and share our own innovations would strengthen not just our chapter, but the entire IWCA network.
María Elena Botto
El Salvador Chapter
As a woman involved in the coffee value chain from seed to cup considers very important to exchange experiences and learn from our coffee sisters in other producing countries. These interactions with our coffee sisters of the world, make us grow as human beings and to increase our knowledge in coffee, as we learn how to benefit our chapter members to be sustainable for the benefit of their coffee community.
Murekatete Faith Luwum
Uganda Chapter
Leading our chapter has shown me how powerful local action can be when fueled by global inspiration. The WCA Global Leadership Summit in Bali offers a rare chance to connect with changemakers from around the world, exchange bold ideas, and return with renewed purpose. I see this not just as an opportunity for personal growth, but as a way to ignite new possibilities for our entire community.

I never expected such an amazing event. I believe the experience was crucial for me to have the determination to work with Marilena and finalise the chapter formation protocol and make Greece a proud member of the IWCA Global organisation. I really would love to be able to live once more this inspiring experience. and get the positive energy to do more and more things for the women in the coffee industry.
Diana Ayala Gomez
Spain Chapter
At IWCA Spain, one of our main goals has been to connect women coffee producers with importers and roasters in Spain — a mission closely tied to my background in green coffee sourcing and my work at Import Promotion Desk Germany. This experience has helped turn shared values into tangible partnerships, with several inspiring success stories already achieved. Attending the IWCA Global Convention will allow us to share these experiences, learn from other chapters, and continue contributing to a more connected, inclusive, and resilient global coffee community.
Every time we collaborate with another chapter, we aim to create powerful partnerships that benefit both sides. Attending the convention would be a wonderful opportunity to continue building value, connecting different worlds, and fostering meaningful collaborations across the global IWCA network.
Gillian Duncan
Jamaica Chapter
The IWCA convention offers a unique and invaluable opportunity for women in leadership positions to engage in problem solving and knowledge sharing experiences. This type of collaborative approach is luring and energizing, stimulating my passion for coffee, and a deep desire to see this industry from a panoramic view. As incoming president of my chapter in Jamaica and having over 13 years of experience in the coffee industry across various aspects of the value chain, I see many commonalities with our colleagues across the world.

This convention is an opportunity for me to connect with other chapters that have a similar context, to show case our approach and achievements, while learning from and celebrating brilliant minds. As a newcomer to IWCA, I am excited to experience the IWCA culture, a culture I can share with my own coffee community of women. Within this IWCA community of women leaders in coffee, I would be able to gain insight into the overarching goals of the global organization, connect with new perspectives while opening avenues for future collaboration between Jamaica and other chapters.
Rosario Juan
Philippines Chapter
The IWCA convention always creates a welcoming environment for members to learn from each other — share best practices, challenges, opportunities and success stories.
Ana María Donneys
Colombia Chapter
Attending the IWCA Global Convention in Bali represents one of the most meaningful dreams of my journey—as a fifth-generation coffee producer, and as co-founder and President of IWCA Colombia. It’s an extraordinary opportunity to meet women leaders who are transforming their communities and creating change in an industry that has not always recognized women’s voices. Connecting with them, learning from their stories of courage and leadership, and bringing that inspiration back home to strengthen IWCA Colombia and expand opportunities for women across my country is, without question, a priceless gift.

Carmen Elizabeth Regalado
Honduras Chapter
To speak of coffee in Honduras is to speak of history, aroma, and fertile land. But when that coffee bears the face of a woman, the story becomes one of strength, hope, and transformation. This is how the Alliance of Women in Coffee of Honduras (AMUCAFE)** was born — a network that unites women producers from across the country with a common purpose: to empower women in coffee and elevate the quality of Honduran coffee from its roots.
Every cup tells a story — of women who, through hard work, passion, and love for the land, have turned coffee into a tool for change. Women who once sold their harvests at low prices are now entrepreneurs, leaders, and exporters with brands that cross borders. They have mastered cupping, barism, and sustainable management, proving that excellence is born from dedication.

In regions such as Santa Bárbara, Copán, La Paz, and Ocotepeque, we cultivate more than coffee: we cultivate equality, leadership, and sustainability. Through training, access to credit, and empowerment projects, AMUCAFE drives economic and social growth, strengthening communities and inspiring future generations.
A milestone achievement has been the implementation of the Gender Policy for the Honduran Coffee Sector, guaranteeing equitable participation of women throughout the value chain — a historic step that marks a new era in Honduran coffee.
Our producers have won quality awards, competed in Cup of Excellence, and become symbols of rural transformation. Honduran representation at national and international levels is vital to ensure that the voices, innovations, and experiences of our women are visible and valued in the global coffee community.
AMUCAFE is not just an alliance; it is a movement that shows the world that Honduran coffee has a feminine soul. Where there is a woman coffee producer, there is life, passion, and future.”
Bambaga Ntakobajira Marie Paul

By immersing ourselves in this collective energy, we return home equipped with fresh insights, renewed purpose, and actionable strategies to uplift our communities. It’s a powerful step forward in our mission to champion gender equity, empower women across the coffee value chain, and build a more sustainable future for all.

Anggela Sara Garcia
Peru Chapter
My name is Anggela Sara, and I am proud to be a founding member of IWCA Peru. I am a third-generation coffee producer and the General Manager of Industria Metálica Sara (IMSA Perú), where I have led initiatives that connect innovation, sustainability, and women’s empowerment across Peru’s coffee and cacao industries. Under my leadership, IMSA has become a national reference for technological modernization that uplifts, rather than replaces, human talent.
I have been recognized by Forbes Perú as one of the most influential women in the country, and I am deeply committed to promoting equitable, inclusive business practices. Through my work, I actively advocate for labor formalization, gender equity, and the integration of women in industrial and agro-export sectors.
In addition to my role in business leadership, I am the only WCE-certified judge in barista and brewing competitions in Peru, and I serve as organizer of GirlSplaining Perú, a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and visibility of women in coffee. These experiences have allowed me to mentor young women, celebrate diversity in our sector, and represent Peru in international forums with pride and purpose.
Attending the IWCA Convention in Bali would be an invaluable opportunity to exchange experiences with other chapters, share Peru’s progress in women-led initiatives, and strengthen global networks that empower women across the value chain. I am eager to contribute to discussions on leadership, innovation, and sustainability, bringing a Latin American perspective rooted in resilience and community.
As a founding member of IWCA Peru, my commitment remains to build a future where women are not only participants but leaders shaping the evolution of coffee worldwide.
Thank you very much for considering my application. It would be an honor to represent IWCA Peru in Bali and bring back insights and collaborations to continue empowering women in coffee.
